Every decision matters, and even the smallest misstep can mean points deducted from a perfect 100-point score.
From the moment the mystery basket is revealed, the clock starts ticking. You’ll witness creativity collide with discipline as each competitor transforms surprise ingredients into a refined three-course menu—executed in real time, under scrutiny, and with everything on the line. The energy in the kitchen is electric, the focus unwavering, and the talent unmistakable. Jeunes Chefs Competition Reception Awards Ceremony, Dinner
The Pinnacle of the Weekend
Join us for the grand finale of the weekend—an evening that celebrates achievement, generosity, and the future of our craft—as we announce the Southwest Jeunes Chefs winner who will advance to the National Competition at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill in Philadelphia, June 3–6, 2026.
The celebration begins with a festive cocktail reception, followed by an elegant Awards Banquet hosted at Artemisia’s, the teaching restaurant of St. Philips College. This white-tablecloth dining experience, set on the fourth floor of the school, offers guests a meaningful opportunity to support culinary education while enjoying a beautifully crafted meal in an academic fine-dining setting.

In gratitude for hosting the competition, the Southwest Province will be presenting a $2,500 scholarship to St Phillips College. An auction will be held to raise additional funds for Chaîne Foundation donations to 501(c)(3) hospitality students in oenology and culinary arts. We invite you to bid with both heart and generosity as we invest in the next generation of hospitality leaders.
As a special highlight, the main course will be paired with the exceptional Chappellet Winery 2022 Signature Cabernet Sauvignon—a truly memorable accompaniment for this celebratory night.
